Graduated with honours in economics from Luiss in Rome, he worked in Europe in the finance and private equity sectors before moving to São Paulo in 2006 and founding GM Venture, an interim management and advisory company that manages the investments of numerous foreign companies in Brazil. In several of them, Messana is acting as a board member. He is currently also the President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in São Paulo. A frequent speaker in international events about Brazil and has participated as a professor in the masters of Luiss (Rome), Bocconi (Milan) and Alma Business School (Bologna). In 2017 he was awarded the title of Knight of the Italian Republic. Sérgio Costa is an entrepreneur with a solid leadership experience in foreign direct investments and international business, in the public and private sectors. He strategically leads organisations to excellence via customer-oriented services in multicultural environments. He led Investe São Paulo (now InvestSP) as the Managing Director, reaching the outstanding mark of 225 announced investments, exceeding US$21 billion, and 80,000 direct jobs. A seasoned public speaker, Costa has delivered conferences in various countries. He is graduated in Mechanical Production Engineering by the Federal University of Minas Gerais, and holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from the Azusa Pacific University, CA, USA. Before Investe São Paulo, Costa led organisations as Apex-Brasil, AES Corporation, Sotreq and Sebrae. He is the founder and CEO of STRINGS® - Strategy, Investments, Global Business. Ashley has expertise across all aspects of a cross-border transaction having spent over 15 years in a wide variety of FX industry roles in both Europe and North America. He saw a need within his extensive global investor network to simplify the way cross-border transactions were handled. Prior to founding Deaglo, Ashley was a Director for 10 years at AFEX one of the largest providers of foreign exchange payments in the world. There he was responsible for the acquisition, management and maintenance of corporate, institutional and high net worth clients. Ashley created and led the institutional sales team at AFEX and whilst under his watch, the team doubled revenues annually, developing a network and expertise across a variety of industries and investment strategies. 106.253.233.19
